Skagit Motorcycle Club, Inc. was established in 1968 to promote motorcycling. Club membership is open to all and the club generally has around 50 members. Club members are primarily focused on off road riding, but many ride on road as well. The non-profit club hosts rides at Walker Valley ORV and takes a very active position in the management and maintenance of trails there.
Annual events include the Kilted Duck Scottish Trials and Poker Run in April, the Webfoot Enduro in May, the Dual Duck dual sport ride in August and various campouts and semi-organized rides.
Meetings are held in Mount Vernon at the hospital on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00.
SMC does not own property other than the tools, etc. required to maintain trails and host events. Club assets are kept to a minimum and donations are made yearly to charity or to promote the sport.
