Who is the NMA?
Wildlife and motorcycles can in fact co-exist!
The NMA organization strives to inform, educate, and organize off-highway motorcyclists within Washington State in order to preserve and expand off-highway motorcycling opportunities. Interested having fun, the NMA sponsors competitive and non-competitive events for NMA members. At the same time, the organization is aware of the hard work needed to keep motorized and non-motorized off-road recreation alive in the future. There are efforts from other organizations to limit the available lands and opportunities for off-road recreation, especially for off-road motorcycling.
Working wiith concerned individuals and clubs, the NMA continues to champion issues for off-road motorcyclists. However, that effort is not without challenges. We can always use more help and need new members to join the effort.
The NMA utilizes its members, charter clubs, and sponsors:
- To inform, educate, and organize off-highway motorcyclists within Washington State, in order to preserve and expand off-highway motorcycling recreational opportunities;
- To promote off-highway motorcycling as a legitimate and responsible form of recreation;
- To oversee a user funded system to construct and maintain off-highway motorcycling recreational opportunities;
- To keep public lands open for the responsible use by all recreationalists, with specific emphasis on motorized recreation;
- To represent the interests of off-highway motorcyclists to government, land owners, other recreation user groups, and the general public.
So if you are not a member, join now! We all need to work together to keep our sport alive and well.
