9 - Capital State Forest
Southwest Region

This State Forest is one of the most popular areas in Western Washington for trailbiking. There are over 100 miles for trailbikes in the Northern half of the forest. The southern half has trails only for horses and hikers. There are many entrances into this park but the most popular one is at the Rock Candy MT entrance. There is also camping available with no charge at these sites. Trails also connect to Thurston County ORV Sports Park.

Season: daylight hours, with seasonal restrictions. Nov. 1 to April 1 trails are closed.
